I don’t like to give bad reviews ever however I have to say that my house survey on this occasion was not completely good . Yes they pointed out my roof problems but a ground floor thorough inspection was not made and it turned out I had a rotten floor which needed replacing so no not completely happy with my survey

I had a very positive experience using Weald & City for a Level 3 survey. Timothy, the surveyor assigned to the job, was exceptionally prompt and helpful in all his communications. The survey itself was extremely informative, particularly due to the effective use of multimedia to clearly outline the findings. Although the survey led us to withdraw from the purchase, it turned out to be a positive outcome - it revealed a number of significant issues we were not prepared to take on. I found the service to be of very high quality, and the pricing was extremely competitive. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we couldn’t use Weald & City for our next full survey. However, Timothy went above and beyond by providing a quick desktop review of several properties we were considering. Thanks to that input, we ended up making an offer on one of them. Having had to use a different surveyor for the next stage, I appreciated the professionalism and quality of Weald & City’s service even more. Kudos to the team for running such a fantastic service. Highly recommended.

Weald & City provided an exceptional service from start to finish. The report itself was incredibly thorough, with pictures, videos and detailed explanations. They even took the time to call me the same day that the inspection took place to talk through the initial findings. Once the full report is shared they also provide a follow up call to go through any further questions we have and next steps. Incredible value for money, I would recommend them to anyone.

I booked a level 3 survey with Weald & City following a recommendation and I’m very glad I did. Tim completed a very detailed survey report for the property and also sent me a summary immediately after the survey which included some key points, but also provided me with reassurance and an idea of what to expect in the full report. Tim has been extremely helpful in answering any questions I had following the report, and also providing advice on how to go about sorting issues with the property. Jonathan has been absolutely amazing. His report was high quality and extremely detailed! He worked late on a Friday and on a Saturday to get the report over to us in time for the stamp duty change as well. He replied to all our questions very promptly, even answering as late as 10:30pm. I can’t stress enough how brilliant Jonathan and the services he provides are!

Absolutely impeccable service. I had a complicated survey on a period property with lots of red flags. Everything was explained in detail, the platform used to present the survey is really easy to navigate, and Tim was always available to discuss solutions to the issues. Very helpful and knowledgable, the repprt was easy to understand and very detailed.

Jonathan was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable. The survey took a little longer than I had anticipated but the reason was that Jonathan was carefully considering all options. Once the report was provided he was available and responsive for all my questions. He responded quickly and honestly. He even offered to return to the property to recheck some matters. I used his report to discuss with some family members who are architects with their own businesses and they noted what a good job he had done with the survey. In the end, his report informed me that work required would be extensive and more than I was able to afford so I was able to make an informed decision about my purchase. Would definitely go back to him in the future.

We couldn’t be happier with the service we have received from Weald and City. Tim and Megan have produced a thoroughly comprehensive report that has been extremely useful for our prioritising of works that need to be undertaken and the budgeting for these works. The teams knowledge is second to none and Tim was willing to have a call with us to discuss the likely regulatory requirements and best practice for remedial works to correct the issues highlighted. We will be returning to use their services for future planning applications for sure. We can’t recommend Weald and City highly enough. After much searching for a surveyor I was very pleased to find Weald &City. They understood my concerns and what I was looking for.
